In incercarea de a obtine un soft de calitate pentru prelucrarea in mod eficient a subtitrarilor luate dupa internet s-a nascut JSD.
JSD stie sa lucreze in prezent cu 2 formate larg raspandite: srt si sub.
Multe subtitrari dupa internet au probleme. 
Ce tehnologii foloseste JSD?

- SMART WRAPPING - este implementat implicit propriul standard - TVQS+ (44 caractere pe rand, maxim 2 randuri) foarte eficient pentru DVD cu chipset Mediatek standalone (si cu fonturi Mtz). Wrapping-ul e mult mai eficient decat cel implementat hardware la DVD playere standalone, tine cont de semnele de punctuatie si nu desparte cuvintele prin "-" intre cele 2 randuri;

As you might notice, the word "works" is automatically moved on the second line because on the tv it will not fit on the safe area (maximum 44 characters for a line of subtitle).
- OTC (ORPHAN TEXT CASCADING) - textul de pe un frame de subtitrare care nu incape in cele 88 de caractere este trimis automat intr-un frame viitor. Daca in viitor acesta se suprapune cu un alt frame, atunci se concateneaza cu frame-ul respectiv. Se repeta procesul pana cand nu mai exista text orfan;

Because some DVD firmwares cannot make difference between "00:00:05,300" and "00:00:05,800", the second frame of subtitle is ignored and not displayed on some standalone DVD players.
In curand o sa implementez si functii gen sincronizare sau split subtitrare!
